Lynryd Skynrd has been added to the weeks events along with Paris Green for this year's 2009 Texas Lonestar Rally. This year's Rally is sure to be a good time for all. Make sure you get down to Galveston for the opening performance this year, featuring The Hectic as mainstage Headliners.

Filming and editing for The Hectic's "Beat In Your Head" video has wrapped up. Look for an online release sometime around August. The video will feature scenes from DTR Films "Room 6". A short film production that is currently being shopped to industry reps for a possible full scale version. You are not going to want to miss this video.

A new montage type video featuring past show footage has also been started. Look for yourself in some of this footage which will be set to the music of The Hectic's "Call Me Forgotten" track.

In anticipation for the upcoming CD release, that is now tentatively scheduled for August / September '09. The Hectic has added a few more shows around the Gulf Coast area. A CD release party is being planned and more details will be available once the venue and date are confirmed.

The Hectic has been selected as a featured band on www.Bandzoogle.com, the online web hosting firm that The Hectic uses exclusively for online presence and management. As a result The Hectic has now made some interesting friends with new site traffic from around the world discovering the band daily.

The Hectic just wrapped up filming on the first video off the upcoming self-titled debut. "Beat In Your Head" was filmed on location at the "Madisonville Motel" (Madisonville Texas) and "Woodland Inn & Suites" in Rosenburg Texas. Special thanks to those owners for letting the band and crew take over the "facilities". There are some behind the scenes photos in the photo section @ www.thehectic.com plus some more floating around various myspace friends pages as well.

The cops were called out during the outside shooting "public disturbance" ofcourse...we wanna thank Madisonvilles finest for not hauling the bunch off to jail :-) and letting the guys finish out the shooting.
