The Hectic is proud to announce a new feature here at thehectic.com, "The Hectic Radio" has now been launched and features all of the Hectic's available studio recordings. The radio player located on this homepage can "pop out" and stay on your desk top so you can jam at work and home, from any computer.
The new CD tracks have also been uploaded to our Music page and is available now for MP3 downloads only until the physical CD is in our distribution center for physical purchases later this month. New merch is also now in stock and available at any live show or here on this website.

The Hectic's self-titled debut CD is currently in mass production. The physical CD will be made available online immediately once it is in hand at the distribution center as well as being available at all live performances. Simultaneously the music is being released on iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon Mp3, and other electronic download sites as well. The Hectic is looking forward to the release and an official "release" party is being planned for sometime at the first of the year in Houston.
The first 1,000 copies of this CD will be personally autographed and numbered exclusively for the first 1000 patrons ONLY as a limited edition pressing. Complete with one of a kind full color art work, 12 page booklet, and an "Official Certificate of Authenticity" to mark the occasion.
A new shirt design will also accompany the release featuring exclusive art work from the infamous rock artist, Justin Kamerer of www.angryblue.com . Justin has designed many works of art and appearal items for many you know such as NIN, Metallica, Korn, Slayer...the list goes on. You can see the new merch as well as the cover art online now at The Hectic's Online Store within this site.
The Hectic's first ever full length video production for one of the albums tracks "Beat In Your Head" will also be launched as a viral at the same time as the CD becomes available.
Thank you for your patience and we look forward to sharing this effort with the world VERY soon! Anticipated availability date is in the middle-end of December (ironically)...just in time for Christmas. What a great f*ing stocking stuffer for all your head banger friends and yourself!

LYNYRD SKYNYRD (YES THE SPELLING IS RIGHT FINALLY) has been added to the weeks events along with Pat Green for this year's 2009 Texas Lonestar Rally. This year's Rally is sure to be a good time for all. Make sure you get down to Galveston for the opening performance this year, featuring The Hectic as mainstage Headliners.
Filming and editing for The Hectic's "Beat In Your Head" video has wrapped up. Look for an online release sometime around August. The video will feature scenes from DTR Films "Room 6". A short film production that is currently being shopped to industry reps for a possible full scale version. You are not going to want to miss this video.
A new montage type video featuring past show footage has also been started. Look for yourself in some of this footage which will be set to the music of The Hectic's "Call Me Forgotten" track.
In anticipation for the upcoming CD release, that is now tentatively scheduled for August / September '09. The Hectic has added a few more shows around the Gulf Coast area. A CD release party is being planned and more details will be available once the venue and date are confirmed.
The Hectic has been selected as a featured band on www.Bandzoogle.com, the online web hosting firm that The Hectic uses exclusively for online presence and management. As a result The Hectic has now made some interesting friends with new site traffic from around the world discovering the band daily.

The Hectic just wrapped up filming on the first video off the upcoming self-titled debut. "Beat In Your Head" was filmed on location at the "Madisonville Motel" (Madisonville Texas) and "Woodland Inn & Suites" in Rosenburg Texas. Special thanks to those owners for letting the band and crew take over the "facilities". There are some behind the scenes photos in the photo section @ www.thehectic.com plus some more floating around various myspace friends pages as well.
The cops were called out during the outside shooting "public disturbance" ofcourse...we wanna thank Madisonvilles finest for not hauling the bunch off to jail :-) and letting the guys finish out the shooting.

The Hectic joins forces with Brian Baker of Sound Arts / Houston for final mixing of "The Hectic" album. Brian has worked with many national recording artist such as Blue October, Garbage, Run-DMC, Dirt, plus many more and is a well known high quality recording talent in the Gulf Coast region. Currently, The Hectic is mixing on the new trax and getting them ready for pre-production Mastering by none other than the legendary Mastering Engineer, Tom Baker of Precision Mastering in Los Angeles California. Some of Tom's work has included artist such as: Rob Zombie, Velvet Revolver, Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, and many more. (Note: There is no relation between the two Baker's - that's entirely a coincidence!)

Ronnie has completed filming on his part in the upcoming live action film trailer for DC Comics in which he was cast as an "Evil Nazi Villain". There is a sequence photo posted at www.thehectic.com. Also, The Hectic's "Bloodshot" track has also been selected as part of the musical score for the film.
On a side note The Hectic's "Beat In Your Head" track will be featured in a short horror film as titled: "Room 6" - Director Michael Colburn will also be filming The Hectic's first video release from the new album for the "Beat In Your Head" track which will feature scenes from the "Room 6" Film.
The Hectic will be headlining the mainstage on opening night at this years 2009 Texas Lone Star Rally - Galveston Texas.

As many of you may have heard, Kevin Reed was involved in a car wreck recently that has left him pretty banged up but okay. He's had surgery to repair a busted knee and is at home recovering now. If you would like to wish him well please feel free to post in the guest book section. The Hectic has cancelled the March 6th appearance and will likely resume booking in April.

Ronnie Tinsley is taking his performances off the stage and onto the "silver screen". He has been cast as an "evil-villain" in a pilot episode for an upcoming movie/series for DC Comic's Wonder Woman. Filming is to begin in Houston this month and wrap up at the end of March. Check back soon for more updates and a possible clip.

UPDATE!!! The Hectic's very own Marilyn Tovy will be performing live at Houston's Toyota Center during the 2008 Latin Grammy Awards on November 13th. Marilyn will be performing with Latin Pop Sensation and Grammy Award winning Gloria Estefan.

HHB was INSANE!!!! All the freaks who joined us, all the leather and spike clad folks, our new biker bretheren, family and friends, thanks to everyone for coming out and making the show so great. Major props to Stargazer Audio as well as the Monster Spook House mayhem that was scattered about and ofcourse the Legendary Leatherman Stoney Paul. It was good making so many new friends and bringing some serious "crunch" to our new friends at the Hawg Stop. We appreciate each and everyone of you and we look forward to hanging out again soon. New Rock The Bayou stills have been added to the site showing the band at full throttle this past weekend at the Bud Lime Light Stage during their second performance @ RTB.
